Austin Golson Training Worn Official Auburn Tigers WAR EAGLE Under Armour Cleats. Austin Golson is an offensive lineman for the New York Jets. He was signed shortly after the 2018 NFL Draft by the Jets as an undrafted free agent. Golson played college football for the Auburn Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels. Golson was a team captain who earned third-team All-SEC in 2017. He was also on the preseason Rimington Trophy watch list.

He played as a graduate student in education and earned SEC Academic Honor Roll. In 2013, as a freshman at Ole Miss, he played in 12 games mostly at right guard, but some at tackle, where he played in high school.

He sat out the 2014 season after his decision to transfer to Auburn, which was closer to home. When he became eligible again in 2015, the Tigers used him to replace former Rimington Award winner Reese Dismukes at center. The senior from Prattville, Ala. Started at three different positions in the first six games of 2017. Golson moved to right tackle from center to replace an injured Darius James in Week 3, bringing senior center Casey Dunn into the fold.

Golson moved to left guard in a 44-23 win over Ole Miss after starter Mike Horton was injured. Hes also played right guard and blocking tight end in certain unbalanced line sets. He played exceptional during the second half of 2017, especially against Alabama and Georgia.

Golson's versatility allowed Auburn to weather a string of injuries along the line without having much drop-off up front. He is mostly viewed as a center or guard prospect -- with most of his experience coming at center.

He has solid technique at the point of attack and is a tremendous run blocker. His versatility and leadership put him in a special category. Coach Malzahn said about Golston It says a lot about him and says a lot about his leadership. It'll help him greatly moving forward at the next level. But he's done a super job.

You ask me his best position, I think he's really a very good player at all the positions he's played. He's a real smart guy. He's a real competitive guy. He's an attention-to-detail guy. Can't say enough good things about Austin Golson.

The featured size 13 under armour cleats were worn in training by Austin Golson as a member of the Auburn Tigers. These dynamite cleats feature the Tigers navy blue and burnt orange team colors with WAR EAGLE on the back heel. War Eagle is Auburn's battle cry -- not a mascot or nickname. "War Eagle" has become a way for the Auburn family to greet and identify with each other all over the world. Anywhere you're wearing something with an Auburn logo on it, chances are you'll hear a friendly War Eagle!

There is also "1856" on the left tongue. This is when Auburn was 1st chartered on February 1st, 1856, as East Alabama Male College, a private liberal arts school affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Recognizing the school had moved beyond its agricultural and mechanical roots, it was granted university status by the Alabama Legislature in 1960 and renamed Auburn University, a name that better expressed the varied academic programs and expanded curriculum that the school had been offering for years. However, it was popularly called "Auburn" for many years before the official name change.

Golson's #73 is written on the heel of each cleat in silver. The unsigned cleats show good use and feature AUBURN TIGERS insoles!
